Nothing's for free anymore

I went Christmas shopping today. In my local shopping centre they created a 'Santa Cave'. a whole shop was turned into a winter wonderland, which is great and I think it's a good idea. But I was struck and a bit disgusted by a sign saying: 'meet Santa for only £5'. WTF?? Shouldn't children's dreams be for free?
