Hey Adam! I would like to spend more time in SE Asia, but I'm happy to be going for longer anyway. I will probably go back and visit the other areas, too.
Don't miss out the Philippines!!!! Everybody always misses out the Philippines on trips to South-East Asia but it is WELL worth the visit. They have over 7000 islands, are fantastically friendly (they LOVE visitors!) and it is home to some of the most incredible biodiversity in the world. If you like diving, this is also THE place to go diving. :) Recommendations are the island of Palawan - known currently as the last outpost of pure, untouched by man, natural beauty that is totally breathtaking. Boracay is the typical tourist beach which is meant to be amazing, but I would go for the untouched one myself... :)
I'm not going to the Philippines this time, but I will be staying in Thailand for quite a bit, so I will go there during one of the school holidays. Phillipines sound amazing!
That is quite an itinerary you have planned right there. That must’ve taken a lot of booking and whatnot beforehand to accomplish such a feat! How’d it go? Did you have hiccups along the way, or did everything go along smoothly? Anyways, have fun on your future travels! Cheers!
Sad to see that Cambodia and southern Vietnam aren't on your itinerary! But other than that, your itinerary looks awesome — happy travels!
